MacArthur Andrew Harris Jr better known as Dru Billions Xtraordinaire was born in Miami, FL in the summer of '89. Dru spent most of his younger years between the great islands of the Bahamas and South Florida. Due to his Caribbean upbringing, his style is heavily influenced by the rhythmic sounds of reggae and the freedom of jazz. His vocal sound is comparable to the likes of Ty Dolla Sign, J.Cole, and Andre 3000. Dru is also known to draw influence from 80's and 90's Hip Hop and R&B, along with the melodic tones of Acid Jazz to Ambient Trance. 

 

His 1st album was released in October of 2009 entitled 'Always Pursue Excellence". Summer 2011, Dru packed up and moved to Atlanta, GA. He formed his 1st label APEHEAD Entertainment. Under that label, from 2011 to 2018, Dru released 3 albums, 3 mixtapes, 1 compilation, 1 Instrumental Album and 1 Executive Producer Credit.

2020- Completed the Talent INC Showcase. Signed with Evolution Talent Agency. Currently enrolled as a student at Talent INC: The Studio.

 

2021- Dru Billions has now launched a luxury footwear company. #DBXCo. Rebranded his label, now called Uptown Inde, L.L.C. Releases this year includes the EP’s: Plan A:Take 31, Plan A: Volume 2, Lionheart, and 2 Single entitled “Done With Waiting” & “Love Is”

 

2023- Check out his latest release, the brand new LP “No Traffic” featuring the hit singles “Get It Right”, “Whats Up” and “This Is Me”. The 1st video for this project is This Is Me, currently on Youtube. 

*His company Uptown Inde, has now moved into a permanent home located inside the Talent INC Studio, where he is bringing his expertise in Audio & Artist Development Education.
