What is an InstaReel?

Actors need examples of their work on casting sites. These are called demo reels. New actors do not always have examples of work so we are offering InstaReels. These are 30-second clips (1 minute for 2 actor scenes) that will look like a professional clip from an actual film. Casting directors will not know the difference!

For the two actor scene do I need to provide the other actor?

Yes. You will need to provide the other actor. Make sure your partner is as strong as you are. It’s also important that the script features both of you equally. If you are providing your own script, you will need to send us a final draft 1 week prior to your shoot date.

Do you provide wardrobe and props?

You will need to provide your own wardrobe. It is important to research the styles that are related to television. We will discuss possible wardrobe during the consultation. We will provide props discussed at the consultation for the shoot.

How will I receive my footage?

You will receive your demo through either Dropbox or WeTransfer once editing is complete

How do I pay?

A deposit of $50 per actor is due at the consultation to book your taping. The remainder will be due on the day of the shoot. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. A 3% fee will be added to any credit card transaction.

What is the rescheduling/cancellation policy?

We understand that sometimes things happen so we will allow you to reschedule ONCE as long as you do it at least 5 days prior to the shoot date. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations. Our InstaReel crew is extremely busy and once they have scheduled your appointment, they cannot schedule other paying appointments for that time so they lose money on cancellations. Rescheduling less than 5 days prior to a shoot date is considered a cancelation and your deposit will be sacrificed. Reschedules must be scheduled within 45 days of original session date, no exceptions.

Does the price include coaching?

Yes. We will meet with you 30 minutes prior to your shoot time to work on the scene. Please be on time so that we can utilize all 30 minutes. We will also be on set during the shoot to fix any situations that may arise.

Do I provide my own script?

You are welcome to provide your own script but it MUST be original. Please do not plagiarize someone else’s work. We are also happy to write one for you for an extra cost. If you do provide your own, you will need to send a final draft into us a week prior to your shoot date.
